Check the game before calculating
- 1. Note the tier of the pickaxes you already have.
- 2. Check how many matching pickaxes your current merge prompt requires.
- 3. Enter the target tier and use the result as your material plan.
Plan the starting pickaxes and merge actions for any tier jump. Choose the ratio shown in your game so the result stays transparent and update-safe.
Enter the tier numbers you use and select the merge ratio shown in your current game session. We do not assume a ratio because public sources disagree and the developer can change it.
Starting pickaxes = merge ratio raised to the number of tier jumps. Total merge actions = (starting pickaxes − 1) ÷ (merge ratio − 1). These are mathematical estimates, not developer-published costs.
This fan-made tool does not claim an official tier count or fixed developer-published merge ratio. It excludes luck, boosts, mining time, currency costs, and balance changes. Recheck the in-game prompt after updates.
Read the merge guideIt estimates the number of same-tier starting pickaxes and total merge actions needed to reach a target tier from a starting tier.
The calculator does not publish an unverified game rule. Select the ratio visible in your current Pickaxe Tycoon session so the estimate matches what you observe.
No. It calculates merge quantities only. Mining speed, tower income, boosts, prices, and update-specific effects are not included.
Each tier jump multiplies the starting requirement by the selected ratio, so the quantity grows exponentially over many tiers.
